Capital Campaign

Thanks for your support, Yarmouth! The Merrill Memorial Library’s capital campaign has raised over $1,000,000 to date to renovate the 108-year old building.  Read all about it in the Forecaster!

Merrill Memorial Library, in the heart of the village, is a valuable asset for our community. Story-hour, newspapers, audio books, DVDs, Wifi, and free computers keep this building busy throughout each day.

You can still donate to this important project in 3 ways:

  • Online ”gift registry”–use link on the library home page,
  • by credit card or by check—pick up an envelope at library,
  • by giving appreciated stock.

We accept pledges over three years. A gift over $1500 ensures your place on the plaque.

The $1 million goal is augmented by a $1.5 million bond passed by Yarmouth voters last June by a 3-to-1 margin. It is clear the library needs work and is supported by our town. It’s Overdue, Time to Renew!

mml-campaign-appeal3The Merrill Memorial Library has launched a Capital Campaign to raise $1 million to support the renovation and leverage a $1.5 million bond from the Town of Yarmouth.
