Author Talk: MZ (Emily Zack)

Come hear Portland-based author, dancer, and choreographer, MZ (Emily Zack), discuss their debut novel, “The Moorings of Mackerel Sky.” This contemporary novel marries fantasy with everyday life as Mackerel Sky, a Maine lobstering town’s, local myths come to life. Readers will find themselves enchanted by the power of a love that spans centuries. Mackerel Sky, is infamous for the mythical mermaid that captured the heart of a legendary sea captain – three hundred years later, its residents are both blessed and cursed by the lore that the small community was built upon.
