Author Talk with Dr. Kolleen Dougherty

Join us for an evening with Yarmouth resident, medical doctor, anesthesiologist, and author of “Doctoring While Female: The Personal and National Toll of Gender Inequity in Medicine”, Kolleen Dougherty M.D., F.A.S.A.

Dr. Dougherty will be discussing the challenges women and femme individuals face in this traditionally male-dominated field. Her book offers an invaluable perspective about these issues and serves as a testament to how progress is made one courageous step at a time.

Dr. Dougherty, has been married for nearly 26 years. She is a proud mother of four and can often be spotted walking her two poodles around town.
