Author Talk with Madison Ellingsworth & Gillian Burnes

Come hear Madison Ellingsworth and Gillian Burnes discuss their short-story anthology Positivity Bias from Littoral Books. It makes one promise about the characters between its covers: somehow or another, they’re going to be OK. The Authors will read selections, take questions, and talk about the meaning, challenge, and special power of a happy ending.

Madison Ellingsworth’s work has recently been featured in Fractured Lit, FRiGG Magazine, and Apple Valley Review, among other publications. A ceramicist as well as a writer, she loves being active outside and writing in the sun on her back porch.

Gillian Burnes’s novel, Soft Features, was a 2023 Maine Literary Award finalist and a 2024 All Books Considered Book Club selection. She’s been baking sourdough bread since before it was cool.
