Merrill Film Society : A Star is Born (2018)

This film, directed by and starring Bradley Cooper, opposite Lady Gaga, reinvents the classic romance for a new era. Co-written by Cooper, Eric Roth, and Will Fetters, it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song (“Shallow”) and earned eight Oscar nominations.
