Merrill Film Society : Paradise Now

For our second Camden Conference collaboration screening we will present Paradise Now, directed by Hany Abu-Assad and starring Kais Nashef and Ali Suliman. Winner of the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film and nominated for an Academy Award, this gripping drama follows two childhood friends in Palestine whose lives take a dramatic turn. Thoughtful and moving, the film explores themes of loyalty, identity, and choice.
