Merrill Film Society Presents: Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World

Ahoy! It’s a screening of Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, the epic seafaring adventure based on Patrick O’Brian’s beloved Aubrey–Maturin novels. Starring Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany, directed by Peter Weir and co-written with John Collee, the film won two Academy Awards and was nominated for Best Picture. We almost showed it a year ago—until our projector mutinied. Now, with our new rig ready for action, we’re setting sail at last. Don’t miss the boat!
