Art Reception: Our Story is One

Join the Yarmouth Arts Alliance at the library for a presentation, reception, and art display with Baha’i activist Parivash Rohani.

#OurStoryIsOne is a global education and art movement that honors and commemorates the ten Baha’i women who were persecuted and killed 40 years ago in Iran for adherence to their religious identity. This is also a personal story for Maine resident, activist, and artist Parivash Rohani. The difficult road to gender equality in Iran has been shared by countless women of all faiths and backgrounds. #OurStoryIsOne is a story of resilience in the face of oppression.
