Poetry Reading: Betsy Sholl

Join us for an evening with Betsy Sholl, the Poet Laureate of Maine from 2006-2011. Sit back, relax, and enjoy an intimate poetry reading with this extraordinary writer.

Betsy Sholl has received numerous awards, including an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Southern Maine in 2022. Her work has been featured in various anthologies and literary journals, and she has taught at many institutions, including elementary schools, prisons, MIT, and for thirty years at USM. Currently, she teaches in the MFA in Writing Program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. From 2006 to 2011, she served as the Poet Laureate of Maine.
