We offer a wide variety of space at the library to sit and get some work done.
Quiet Study
Need some peace and quiet to get some work done? The second floor has a plethora of seating options just for you.
- Study Room – Four long tables are available if you need some workspace to spread out a bit. This a communal area, so a new friend might sit down next to you.
- Semi-Private Carrels – Two study carrels are setup in our periodical room.
- Open Seating – Throughout the second floor is a wide array of open seating available to use.
Open Workspace
The main foyer of the library has a multitude of seating options to use if you either need or don’t care about the volume of the others around you. No reservations necessary. This is the best place if you are looking to meet with someone or take a phone or Zoom call. No library police on patrol to “shhhh” your volume.
Just for Kids & Teens!
If you are under 18 and looking to just hangout or work on school assignments, the Youth Services area is set up for you! Tables and chairs line the walls of the Youth & Teen area surrounding the Circulation Desk. Grab a seat and help yourself. All are welcome to browse the collection but the seating and tables are reserved for patrons 18 and under.
Small Meeting Room
Due to space constraints, we only have one private meeting room available for use. It cannot be reserved but is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Intended for groups of two or more. Inquire at the Circulation Desk.
