Welcome to the Merrill Library Dungeons & Dragons Info page. Here are some great resources for those of you who are interested in playing D&D, creating characters, or want to read more about the game.
DnDBeyond is an invaluable website. You can create a character, find tips about playing the game, and, under the “Sources” tab, find the entire Player’s Handbook.
Roll20 is the site to use for playing D&D online. You can start a game or join a game. If you are part of an ongoing campaign, the DM will send you a link to the game and then you can login. The site has a feature called Charactermancer that walks you through the creation of a character; you have to be logged into a game to use this feature.
Heroforge is a cool site that allows you to design your character. It is possible to actually purchase the minifigure that you make from the site.
Critical Role is a D&D show. It started out in 2012 as a bunch of friends sitting around playing D&D. Now in its third campaign storyline, the show features seven popular voiceover actors diving into epic adventures, led by veteran game master Matthew Mercer (warning: there can be adult language in the episodes).
Geek & Sundry is a good source for all things gaming.
