Film Screening: “Raiders of the Lost Ark”

Join us for a film screening and discussion with our movie group: the Merrill Film Society.

Summer approaches, and with it another season of blockbuster action-adventure movies. In celebration of this, we are jumping in the Wayback Machine to take a look at one of the all-time great action-adventure films,1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark. Directed by a then up-and-coming Steven Spielberg and based on a story created in part by George Lucas, you may know this movie better as, “Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark”, a name it was given years after its initial release to better market it along with its sequels. If you haven’t seen it, or haven’t seen it recently, come join us and savor every quip, chase, and brawl!
