How Do I Get a Card?
All Yarmouth residents, property taxpayers, anyone who works for the town of Yarmouth, or for businesses in town, are eligible for a free library card. Proper identification is required. Library staff will need to see a photo ID that contains your name and address. If your ID doesn’t have your current address on it, an official item bearing your address will also be needed. Examples of acceptable documents are: driver’s license, passport, car registration, rental agreement, or piece of US mail. If you don’t live in town, but are eligible because of your employment, a separate document to associate you with your place of work will also be required (like a recent pay stub). Cardholders are responsible for all items checked out on their cards.
To be issued a card you can visit the library or fill out this form online:
If using the online form, our Circulation Manager will review the application and contact you with any questions we might have. Once everything is squared away we will mail out the library card to you.
Don’t live in town?
Non-Residents are eligible for all library privileges by paying an annual fee of $40 per household. Non-resident card applications must also be verified with a photo ID and proof of address.
To apply for a Non-Resident card you can visit us in person, or fill out this form online:
