Hospice supports individuals who have life-limiting illnesses by providing a team of caregivers to care for the person’s emotional, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, and is a poorly understood part of our health care system. Kim Crabill, the Community Liaison from Hospice of Southern Maine, joins us to talk about hospice and how it is changing the lives of many Mainers. It is a difficult topic for sure, but an important one.
This program is a part of our Wellness Series in partnership with Yarmouth Community Services and Aging in Place Yarmouth.
